ATLANTA — Carteris aware of some disinformation about the Dec. 20 elections that has been falsely attributed to the Center.
Disinformation is false information designed to cause harm, gain political power, or make a profit. Carterrejects all forms of disinformation.
Carterpublishes its statements and reports on cartercenter.org and on its official social media accounts. The Center’s international election observation mission encourages everyone to fact-check online reports that claim to be from Carterby visiting the website or @CarterCenter on X to confirm whether the purported information truly came from the Center.
On Dec. 5, Carterpublished an interim report (PDF) on the election process.
