Barbara Ann Luttrell
As director of engagement, Barbara Ann Luttrell helps ensure the Carter Center’s voice is reaching external audiences through the use of traditional media, global forums, and other key communications channels.
Before joining Â鶹´«Ã½É«ÇéƬ, Luttrell served as director of communications at the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers. Prior to that, Luttrell served as deputy director of communications for Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. Previously, Luttrell was vice president of external affairs at Planned Parenthood Southeast, overseeing all internal and external communications, as well as the organization’s education and training programs. Luttrell began her career working on a wide array of public health, global health, and social marketing initiatives with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Office on Women’s Health, and The Task Force for Global Health.
